Biography

Shailendra Kumar Mishra is a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of extensive experience in the consulting industry, advising multinational corporations on complex taxation, regulatory, valuation and cross-border matters. An ex-Big 4 professional, he has been in consulting since the beginning of his career and has successfully built and scaled high-performing advisory practices from the ground up. 

As the Managing Partner and driving force behind SKMC Global, Shailendra leads the firm’s strategic vision and diversified practice areas. His leadership has been instrumental in building strong foundations for the organisation, nurturing future leaders, and positioning the firm as a trusted advisor in the consulting ecosystem. 

He is widely recognised for his expertise in transfer pricing, international taxation, FEMA and RBI regulations and structuring inbound and outbound investments. With deep experience in handling complex multinational structures and cross-border transactions, he is regarded as a trusted advisor for strategic business decisions and regulatory alignment. 

Shailendra also brings good experience in advising BFSI clients on IFRS 9 validation, credit risk modelling, and financial risk governance. Over a period, he has built a strong network of professionals from the BFSI industry and specialised domain experts while ensuring end-to-end oversight, quality control and single-point accountability for clients.

He is also the co-author of “All India Taxes – A Ready Referencer”, a widely regarded practical guide for professionals, reflecting his thought leadership and deep technical expertise in Indian taxation. 

His qualifications include registration as a Valuer (Securities and Financial Assets) with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India and a Diploma in Information Systems Audit, with extensive experience in valuation assignments, M&A support, and regulatory compliance.
